The Woodland Wolfpack won the last time they faced the Lovett Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Woodland blew past Lovett, posting a 61-25 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Woodland has managed all season.
When it comes to explaining why Lovett lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carson Pressley. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. The victory got Woodland back to even at 4-4. As for Lovett, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Woodland will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harris County at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Lovett, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennesaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennesaw Mountain is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
