The Toll Gate Titans lost against the Tolman Tigers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Toll Gate was outmatched by Tolman at home and fell 46-6. Toll Gate has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Darren Valentin was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Demario Gonzalez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Toll Gate's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.7 points per game. As for Tolman, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Toll Gate will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Lincoln is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Tolman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
