 Green Hope got a great performance from  Blake Vestal as he  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 On the hitting side, Green Hope let  Mason Dean and  Jacob Krebs loose on the outfield. Dean  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while  Krebs  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Dean is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ryan Luo, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Green Level's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Keller Czech, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 Even though they lost, Green Level  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with six  strikeouts. This was only their ninth loss (out of 11 games) when  they post five or more  strikeouts.
 The  win  got Green Hope back to even at 9-9. As for Green Level, they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-13.
 Green Hope will be playing in front of their home fans against Apex at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Green Level, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Middle Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
