The Millikan Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Jordan on the road by a decisive 83-66 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the defeat, Millikan saw an underclassman step up: Parker Snyder scored 18 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Ocampo, who scored 11 points.
Millikan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millikan will take on Woodrow Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodrow Wilson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Millikan in California (Woodrow Wilson is ranked 341st, while Millikan is ranked 685th). As for Jordan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Firebaugh at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
