 Tatum Hudak put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Hudak wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Abby Grimm, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
As for Maplewood, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-4 record  this season. Surprisingly, this marked their fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
On Maplewood's side,  Addison Marker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Claire Urchek was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March.
 Chalker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maplewood, they will take on Aquinas in a tournament  on Wednesday.
