Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colonial Heights). They put the hurt on the L.C. Bird Skyhawks with a sharp 24-3 victory on Monday. Considering the Colonials have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Colonial Heights and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for L.C. Bird, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
