Baseball Recap: London Wins Going Away Against Orange Grove

London won the last time they faced Orange Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. The London Pirates put the hurt on the Orange Grove Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Noah Cervantes looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, London let Aiden Salinas and Christian Olivares run wild. Salinas scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4, while Olivares went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Carreon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

London always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange Grove only posted an OBP of .333.

London has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. Orange Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1.
