Granville Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Horizon Science Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Granville Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Rhoads, who scored six points along with five assists and three blocks. Rhoads is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Cox, who scored five points along with six steals.
Hawa Ba continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Horizon Science Academy, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Ba is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Glory Owoyemi was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Granville Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Horizon Science Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Delaware Christian is coming into the match with five straight defeats at home, meaning Horizon Science Academy will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
