The Cienega Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Sunnyslope Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cienega will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Cienega stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard last Friday. They blew past Buena 69-46.
The match pitted two dominant forwards against one another in Isaac Sdobnev and Jamin Booker. Sdobnev had a solid game and scored eight points. Meanwhile, Booker did his best for the losing side, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, even though Liberty scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, Sunnyslope still came out on top. Sunnyslope walked away with a 69-58 win over Liberty. Given Sunnyslope's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Liberty is ranked 32nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cienega lost to Sunnyslope on the road by a decisive 76-60 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2017. Can Cienega avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
