Softball Recap: Billings Senior Has No Trouble Against Great Falls

While Billings Senior put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Great Falls. The Broncs were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bison. The Broncs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Octavia Meyer and Braella Jennings did most of the damage at the plate: Meyer went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs, while Jennings went 1-for-3 with one home run and three runs. That home run was Meyer's first of the season. Payton Tryan was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Billings Senior was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Billings Senior's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Great Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Billings Senior will head out to take on Billings Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Great Falls, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Skyview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
