The Seaforth Hawks will face off against the Lee County Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seaforth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.6 runs per game this season.
Seaforth made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Northwood, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Seaforth was the clear victors by a 24-4 margin over Northwood on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Emma Grace Hill and Cami Brinkley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Hill struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Brinkley pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Hill has posted since back in April of 2024. At bat, Hill scored five runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5, while Brinkley scored three runs while going 1-for-4. Brinkley also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Seaforth got a massive performance out of Emma Stong, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Stong a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blair Hill, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Seaforth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwood only posted a batting average of .211.
Meanwhile, Lee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to Hoke County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Yellow Jackets have suffered against the Bucks since March 11, 2022.
Lee County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKayla Mcdougald, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Seaforth pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15.7 runs. As for Lee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Lee County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Seaforth has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456.
