After two games on the road, Sacramento is heading back home. They will take on The Rio Americano Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sacramento ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 46-38 win over Capital Christian. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Lamar Radcliffe had a dynamite game for Sacramento, rushing for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Meanwhile, Rio Americano earned a 14-7 victory over Del Campo on Friday. The win was just what Rio Americano needed coming off of a 41-15 loss in their prior game.
Sacramento's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 3-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points per game. As for Rio Americano, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Sacramento came up short against Rio Americano when the teams last played back in October of 2022, falling 35-28. Will Sacramento have more luck at home instead of on the road?
