Kimberly is a perfect 10-0 against Gooding since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Senators at 4:00 p.m. Gooding took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kimberly, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Kimberly made easy work of Jerome and carried off an 11-4 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Colton Sabin made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has become a key player for Kimberly: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Sabin was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March.
In other batting news, Jeremiah Bybee was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of MaCraye Bruning, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
Meanwhile, Gooding came up short against Buhl on Monday and fell 7-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Senators in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.
Gooding saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cougar Stockham, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Cason Page, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Kimberly is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Gooding, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Kimberly was able to grind out a solid victory over Gooding when the teams last played on Tuesday, winning 6-2. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Senators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
