Branson Byrd put up the most doubles he's had since back in March of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Hawthorne's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-6 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Byrd and Hawthorne will head out to challenge Crescent City at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. Byrd had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April of 2024 11-7. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
