Woodburn Gets a Boost from Veliz in 51-32 Loss
Starting off the list is Woodburn's Cruz Veliz, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Underclassman JT Girod came into Friday's contest looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, throwing for 227 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
This season, Girod has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 179.1 passing yards per game.

Nick Crowley Delivers Best Effort of Season
