Southeast Valley might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They strolled past Garner-Hayfield/Ventura with points to spare last Friday, taking the contest 42-22.
Meanwhile, we expected Lincoln Central to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Algona, and they did. Lincoln Central ended up on the wrong side of a painful 22-49 walloping at Algona's hands. Lincoln Central's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it five losses in a row.
Southeast Valley's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Lincoln Central's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll see if Southeast Valley's success rolls on or if Lincoln Central are able to steal their positive momentum.
