The Windsor Forest Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Brantley County Herons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor Forest is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Windsor Forest beat Toombs County 46-40.
Trinity Myers was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Grace Ellington, who scored ten points.
Even though Brantley County has not done well against Pierce County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Brantley County walked away with a 32-24 victory over Pierce County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brantley County.
Windsor Forest's record now sits at 5-8. As for Brantley County, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Windsor Forest came up short against Brantley County in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 38-28. Can Windsor Forest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
