Bixby never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Bartlesville Bruins 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bixby has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bartlesville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 16-13.

Bixby will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bruins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
