On Saturday, things could have been worse for Giddings, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-41 loss to Alvin.
Alvin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddy Kincaide out in front who scored 24 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Kincaide's 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne Lang, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
Giddings has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Alvin, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Giddings' road trip will continue as they head out to face Fayetteville at 9:00 a.m. on December 7th. As for Alvin, they will take on College Station at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday.
