The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Walker Wolverines at 7:30 p.m.
Last Friday, Pinecrest Academy was beaten by Cherokee Christian 49-10. Pinecrest Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Walker had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Lanier Christian Academy 31-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Walker, who have now won four games by 31 points or more so far this season.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Cherokee Christian's win pushed their record up to 5-3, while Pinecrest Academy's defeat dropped theirs down to 3-5.
Pinecrest Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Walker in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 26-22 win. Will Pinecrest Academy repeat their success, or does Walker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
