Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Smith, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Sandaire, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.

Corinth Holders will head out on the road to face off against Southeast Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Raleigh knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Corinth Holders likes a good challenge. Fuquay - Varina will be home for the holidays to greet Cleveland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleveland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fuquay - Varina in North Carolina (Cleveland is ranked 241st, while Fuquay - Varina is ranked 538th).
