Sheboygan North hasn't had much luck against Pulaski recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Golden Raiders will head out to take on the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Sheboygan North came out on top against Sheboygan South on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run third inning. The Golden Raiders blew past the Redwings 18-3. That's two games straight that the Golden Raiders have won by exactly 15 runs.

Haley Bergstrom made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last nine contests. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jadyn Jetzer, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bella Wagner, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Sheboygan North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .718. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pulaski). They put the hurt on Green Bay Southwest with a sharp 21-1 win on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Red Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Like Sheboygan North, Pulaski also got a great game from a two-way player: Addison Luebke. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Luebke has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Molly Molthen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Paige Abendroth was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
The victory got Pulaski back to even at 9-9. As for Sheboygan North, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sheboygan North hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Pulaski struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sheboygan North might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from Pulaski in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Golden Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
