On Friday, The Lakeland Hornets got themselves on the board against the Byram Hills Bobcats, but the Byram Hills Bobcats never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 13-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lakeland.
Grady Leonard threw for 100 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. Kyle Gallagher was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards. On the ground, Robbie Policastro rushed for 34 yards.
Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Byram Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Lakeland will head out on the road to face off against Pearl River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pearl River will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Byram Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
