Meanwhile, Westville came up short against Kouts on Monday and fell 3-1. The Blackhawks have struggled against the Mustangs & Fillies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 18-25, 25-17.
Kouts will have to keep a close watch on Lydia Green and Breah Zaiko, a pair of players who had a big impact on Westville's prior game. Green had 17 digs and three aces, while Zaiko had three digs and one block.
Kouts has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. As for Westville, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Kouts was able to grind out a solid victory over Westville in their previous matchup on Monday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs & Fillies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
