It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Mitchell Bluejackets can now relate to. They lost to the Rams on the road by a decisive 48-29 margin on Tuesday. Mitchell's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it 14 in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paoli to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilly Hall, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Carley Higgins, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Paoli, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.
Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Paoli's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Miners at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Linton-Stockton is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
