Arcadia also got a great performance from Quinn Sullivan as she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave Sullivan a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Erin Sum, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Arianna Barajas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Arcadia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Arcadia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8-1 record this season. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
