Volleyball Recap: Rome Has No Trouble Against Gordon Central

Rome barely beat Gordon Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Warriors 3-0 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Rome's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-9.

Rome's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Gordon Central, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Rome will take on Dade County in a tournament on Saturday. As for Gordon Central, they will face off against North Murray at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
