After a string of three wins, the Central Christian Cougars's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-47 walloping at the hands of Solomon.
Spencer Coup continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Solomon, scoring 32 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Coup has scored all season. Jayceon Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Central Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9. As for Solomon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Central Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-58 defeat vs. Cunningham on the 6th. Solomon has also already played their next match, a 71-31 victory against Peabody-Burns on the 6th.
