The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Osmond/Randolph in their matchups with Stuart: they've now lost three in a row.
Osmond/Randolph lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ryan Engel, who scored two points along with three steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Engel posted two or more blocks. Xander Brown was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five steals.
Stuart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavynn Mustin, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 15 rebounds, and nine steals. Mustin has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kayde Ramm, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Osmond/Randolph has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Stuart, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
