Taesian Soto put up the most points he's had since back in December of 2024 on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, going 7 for 11 en route to 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was his fourth straight with eight or more boards.

Soto and Central Valley will take on Heartland Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Hornets, probably because Soto had a solid game then too: he went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.
