On Wednesday, the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves's game was all tied up 16-16 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 34-28 W over Nederland. The win made it back-to-back wins for Union Colony Prep.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Colony Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josiah Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Sarchet, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, Nederland had strong showings from Rick Fortunato, who scored ten points, and Gavin Dillon, who scored seven points.
Union Colony Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-8 record this season. As for Nederland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Union Colony Prep will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bishop Machebeuf at 6:30 p.m. Bishop Machebeuf is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Nederland, they will take on Poudre Community Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Poudre Community Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Monday.
