There's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Katy Taylor Mustangs 12-2 on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

JD Ortigoza and Jackie Bryant did most of the damage at the plate: Ortigoza scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Bryant scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Bryant has become a key player for Jordan: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-11-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cole Keppler, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Jordan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 16-11-1. As for Katy Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will face off against College Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.4, the Cavaliers 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Katy Taylor, they will square off against Paetow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
