The Sacramento Dragons will head out to  take on the Natomas Nighthawks  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday,  everything came up roses for Sacramento on the road  against Armijo as the  squad secured  a  48-21 win. Given the Dragons' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 160th, while the Royals are ranked 436th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Darrius Moore had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  a  sack and making two total tackles.  Le'Ron James Radcliffe was another key player, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes.
 Meanwhile, Natomas didn't have too much trouble with Galt on the road   on Friday as they won  28-14.
  La Brandon Crawford was a one-man wrecking crew for Natomas as he rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown. Crawford also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making nine total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 The  victory made it two in a row for Sacramento and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Natomas, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Sacramento strolled past Natomas in their previous matchup  back in March of 2021 by a score of  26-7. Does  Sacramento have another victory up their sleeve, or will Natomas turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
