The Ridgecroft Rams put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 36-25 win over Lawrence Academy. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Ridgecroft has scored all season.
Leading Ridgecroft to victory were Kate Chamblee and Makenzie Slaughter. Chamblee almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds, while Slaughter scored 14 points along with six assists. Chamblee has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Klaire Cherry, who scored five points.
Ridgecroft pushed their record up to 20-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Lawrence Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.
Ridgecroft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lawrence Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
