A look back at the 2009 MaxPreps All-America Team shows a number of hits and very few misses among the 60 players chosen on the first and second teams.
A total of eight juniors were selected to the 2009 team and ironically only three repeated on the 2010 team - Jadeveon Clowney, James Wilder Jr., and Jason Meehan.
Two other players did not play major college football, including one who died in the spring. The remaining 50 saw a variety of success ranging from limited playing time and redshirt seasons to freshman All-American team recognition.
Here's a look at where each of the 60 2009 MaxPreps All-Americans are, one year later.
First Team
WR - Da'Rick Rogers, Calhoun (Ga.), Tennessee - Eleven catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns for the Volunteers and also had 16 carries for 117 yards. Also returned 12 kicks for an average of 24.8 yards per return.
WR - Kyle Prater, Proviso West (Ill.), USC - Did not catch a pass this year, listed fourth on the depth chart at wide receiver.
WR - Greg Dent, Glades Central (Fla.), Florida State - Caught one pass for 12 yards.

TE - Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Gig Harbor (Wash.), Junior - Earned all-state honors in Washington during his senior year.
OL - Seantrel Henderson, Cretin Derham Hall (Minn.), Miami - Changed commitment from USC to Miami and was a starter for the Hurricanes at tackle. Named to ACC All-Freshman Team.
OL - Ja'Waun James, North Gwinnett (Ga.), Tennessee - Starter at tackle for the Volunteers. Member of SEC All-Freshman Team.
OL - Jake Alexander, Jenks (Okla.), Tulsa - Played center for the Golden Hurricanes.
OL - Tuni Kanuch, Bingham (Utah), BYU - Serving a church mission.
OL - Evan Washington, DeSoto (Texas), LSU - Listed second on the depth chart at LSU at tackle.
QB - Dylan Favre, St. Stanislaus (Miss.), Mississippi State - On the roster for the Bulldogs but did not attempt a pass this year.
QB - Christian LeMay, Butler (N.C.), Jr - Sat out senior season at Butler.
RB - Malcolm Jones, Oaks Christian (Calif.), UCLA - Ran 55 times for 215 yards and no touchdowns. Caught two passes for 17 yards
RB - K.P. Parks, West Rowan (N.C.), Virginia - On the roster at Virginia but did not carry the ball this year.
RB - Herschel Sims, Abilene (Texas), Jr - Battled injuries during senior season at Abilene.
Ath - Dillon Baxter, Mission Bay (Calif.), USC - Ran 59 times for 258 yards and a touchdown. Caught 11 passes for 73 yards.
K - Zach Hocker, Russellville (Ark.), Arkansas - Member of SEC All-Freshman Team. Kicked 16 field goals and 56 extra points.
DL - Jadeveon Clowney, South Pointe (S.C.), Jr - First team MaxPreps All-American as a senior.
DL - Jacques Smith, Ooltewah (Tenn.), Tennessee - Had 24 tackles, five for loss, with two sacks and a forced fumble for the Volunteers.
DL - Jackson Jeffcoat, Plano West (Texas), Texas - Second on the depth chart at defensive end for the Longhorns. Had 15 tackles, six for loss, with 2.5 sacks. Named to Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
DL - Sharrif Floyd, Washington (Pa.), Florida - Twenty-three tackles, eight sacks for the Gators. Member of SEC All-Freshman Team.
LB - Matt Elam, Dwyer (Fla.), Florida - Made 22 tackles for the Gators, including two for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery.
LB - Jordan Hicks, Lakota West (Ohio), Texas - Collected
21 tackles as a backup linebacker for Texas.
LB - William Gholston, Southeastern (Mich.), Michigan State - Had shoulder surgery after being injured against Minnesota, missing the remainder of the season. Had 13 tackles and five quarterback hurries for the year.
LB - Corey Nelson, Skyline (Texas), Oklahoma - Dropped commitment to Texas A & M to sign with Oklahoma. Had 21 tackles, including 2.5 for loss, for the Sooners.
LB - C.J. Mosley, Theodore (Ala.), Alabama - Member of National All-Freshman Team. Had 66 tackles and returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns.
DB - Robert Woods, Serra (Calif.), USC - Ran six times for 52 yards and caught 65 passes for 792 yards and six touchdowns. Also returned 38 kicks for 25.6 average and one touchdown.
DB - Nick Perry, Prattville (Ala.), Alabama - Played sparingly for the Crimson Tide, registering one tackle as a defensive back.
DB - Demarco Cobbs, Central (Okla.), Texas - Saw action in 10 games at defensive back and on special teams. Had four tackles on the season.
DB - Keenan Allen, Northern Guilford (N.C.), Cal - Member of All-Pac 10 Freshman team at wide receiver. Caught 46 passes for 490 yards and five touchdowns for the Bears.
P - Matt Darr, Frontier (Calif.), Tennessee - Changed commitment from USC to Tennessee and was second on the depth chart for the volunteers.
SECOND TEAM
WR - Robert Joseph, Northwestern (S.C.), Jr - One of the top receivers in the country for the second year in a row.
WR - Tai-ler Jones, Gainesville (Ga.), Notre Dame - Rated No. 1 on the depth chart at wide receiver for Notre Dame. Caught 23 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns.
WR - Tobias Singleton, Madison Central (Miss.), Jr - Earned all-state honors in Mississippi during senior year.
TE - Xavier Grimble, Bishop Gorman (Nev.), USC - Listed on the USC roster but did not catch a pass this year.
OL - James Hurst, Plainfield (Ind.), North Carolina - Named to National All-Freshman Team.
OL - Matt James, St. Xavier (Ohio), Notre Dame - Died from a fall from a balcony in Florida during spring break 2010.
OL - Tyler Grubbs, Highlands (Ken.), Miami (Ohio) - Member of team, not listed on depth chart.
OL - Christian Lombard, Fremd (Ill.), Notre Dame - Listed third on the depth chart at tackle at Notre Dame.
OL - Nick Rowland, Centennial (Ariz.), Oregon - Listed on roster at Oregon, but not on the depth chart.
QB - Scotty Young, Ryan (Texas), Texas Tech - Was a redshirt in 2010.
QB - Phillip Sims, Oscar Smith (Va.), Alabama - Did not attempt a pass during 2010 season at Alabama.
RB - Tony Jones, Don Bosco Prep (N.J.), Colorado - Did not carry the ball during 2010 season at Colorado.
RB - Marcus Lattimore, Byrnes (S.C.), South Carolina - Named to National All-Freshman Team after rushing for 1,198 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Gamecocks.
RB - Matt Perez, Maine South (Ill.), Indiana - Did not carry the ball during 2010 season at Indiana.
Ath - Gavin Webster, Lutcher (La.), Southeastern Louisiana - Did not attempt a pass during 2010 season at Southeastern Louisiana.
K - Carey Spear, Mayfield (Ohio), Vanderbilt - Did not kick any extra points or field goals, but averaged 62.8 yards per kick on 40 kickoffs for the Commodores.
DL - James Wilder, Plant (Fla.), Jr - Helped lead Plant to state finals as a senior.
DL - Reggie Wilson, Haltom (Texas), Texas - Appeared in 10 games at defensive end with five tackles and two tackles for loss.
DL - Shawn Green, Grayson (Ga.), Georgia Tech - Did not register a tackle during 2010 season at Georgia Tech.
DL - Nduka Onyeali, Mullen (Colo.), Arizona State - Named to National All-Freshman Team. Had 6.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss.
LB - Jason Meehan, Webster Groves (Mo.), Jr - Earned MaxPreps All-American first team honors as a senior.
LB - Max Bullough, St. Francis (Mich.), Michigan State - Played all 13 games and had 21 tackles and one interception.
LB - Ronald Powell, Rancho Verde (Calif.), Florida - Made 25 tackles for the Gators including three for loss with a sack.
LB - D.J. Welter, Notre Dame (La.), LSU - Did not have a tackle during 2010 season at LSU.
LB - Emmanuel Maxwell, Midwest City (Okla.), Butler CC - Reportedly attended Butler CC but is not on 2010 roster.
DB - Alec Ogletree, Newnan (Ga.), Georgia - Saw time at safety as a true freshman for the Bulldogs.
DB - Airek Green, Thomas Dale (Va.), William & Mary - Had seven tackles and a fumble recovery as a defensive back for William & Mary.
DB - Keanon Lowe, Jesuit (Ore.), Oregon - Decommitted from Washington to Oregon. Listed as wide receiver but did not catch a pass this year for the Ducks.
DB - Cody Riggs, Aquinas (Fla.), Florida - Had an interception against Penn State, finished with 18 tackles on the season.
P - Michael Palardy, Aquinas (Fla.), Tennessee - 13 extra points and five field goals for Tennessee.
