Foundation Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Orange, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 7-1 victory on Thursday. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th.
Tinsley Fisher made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 5.2 innings pitched. Fisher was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Riley Winters was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Kena Terry, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
Foundation Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.

As for West Orange, they will take on Olympia in a tournament on Friday.
