While Zimmerman didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 63-56 win over Eagle Ridge Academy on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunder.

Zimmerman is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zimmerman will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Becker at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they will challenge United Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. United Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Eagle Ridge Academy likes a good challenge.
