Zach Permann Dazzles in Rockland Win
Starting off the list is Rockland's Zach Permann, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Permann threw for 366 yards and six touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards.
This year, Permann has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 190.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 13.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 61.29 rushing yards.

Challis Gets a Boost from Farr in 48-16 Win
Challis found a leader in Jacen Farr as the squad took down Mackay on Friday. Farr turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 316 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Challis has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Farr and Challis will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dietrich at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Watersprings had to settle for second on Friday, but Ryan Demcowicsz sure wasn't going down easily. Demcowicsz was unstoppable, picking up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 62 yards.
Watersprings is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Mackay at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Garrison Applegate Leads Challis over Mackay
Challis was led to victory by Garrison Applegate, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Applegate picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 64 yards.
On the season, Applegate has averaged 7.3 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 sacks.

Aidan Radford Makes It Two for Rockland
The second Rockland player making an appearance here is Aidan Radford, and for good reason. He picked up 119 receiving yards and three touchdowns. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 receiving yards.
Radford is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against North Gem on Friday. Radford picked up 139 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Cowboys duked it out back in October of 2023.
