Elba lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pleasant Home, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Mary O'Neal was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hillary Hudson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Keelie Moseley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Elba was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Red Level put the hurt on McKenzie with a sharp 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for Red Level, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Emmie Snider spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Amaya Williams was a standout: she got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Martin, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Elba's record now sits at 10-11. As for Red Level, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.
Elba suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Red Level in their previous meeting back in March. Can Elba avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
