Walhalla's game  on Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They never let the Carolina Academy Trojans get on the board and left with  a   30-0  victory. The Razorbacks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Kaleigh Cothran made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Cothran was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with four  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Alysee Payne was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Addison Lee, who  went a perfect 5-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI.
 Walhalla  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.
With the  win, Walhalla broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-12. As for Carolina Academy, their defeat was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-16.
 Looking ahead, Walhalla will face off against Crescent at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Carolina Academy, they will square off against Palmetto at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.4  runs per game this season.
