Volleyball Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Has No Trouble Against Amplus Academy

Mater Academy East Las Vegas lost to Amplus Academy back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Archers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas never let Amplus Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-15.

Mia Solano was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten assists and five digs.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Southeast Career Tech on the 29th. After both having extra time off, Amplus Academy and Western will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
