The match between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Channelview falling 43-29. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sam Rayburn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Hinojosa, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Yvette Gutierrez was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Channelview's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Sam Rayburn, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
Channelview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wheatley at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th.
