Terrell extended their winning streak  to six  on Thursday, bumping them up to 6-0. They walked away with  a   21-14  victory over the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars. The 21-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Terrell found their leader in sophomore  JULIAN ASHLEY, who rushed for 117 yards and two  TDs. ASHLEY's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117  rushing yards.
 Terrell was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 248  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 248  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
As for Midlothian Heritage, their  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. Their loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Midlothian Heritage's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Dax Montelongo, who threw for 136 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards on only seven carries. Montelongo's passing game has become a key predictor of the Jaguars' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Midlothian Heritage also got a significant boost from  Za'Ko Davis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
 Coming up, Terrell will face off against Ennis at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. That  contest will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  ASHLEY and  WENDERIUS JONES. As for Midlothian Heritage, they will venture away from home to  challenge Crandall  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games.
