Basketball Recap: Elijah Mobley Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Prince George's Christian Academy Blue

Springdale Prep won the last time they faced Prince George's Christian Academy Blue and things went their way on Thursday too. The Springdale Prep Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Prince George's Christian Academy Blue Flyers 75-73.

Springdale Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Mobley led the charge by going 7 of 9 on his way to 21 points. Jace Hudson was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 18 points and seven boards.

Springdale Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Prince George's Christian Academy Blue's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Wisdom Carter, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals, and Sam Caldwell, who went 5 for 6 en route to 16 points. Carter has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Jackson, who posted 15 points and five assists.

Springdale Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Prince George's Christian Academy Blue, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.
