The Paxton Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 21 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 64-38 margin over Ponce De Leon. With Paxton ahead 39-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Paxton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Liam Sadler out in front who scored nine points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Adams, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Paxton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Ponce De Leon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Paxton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Central will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Ponce De Leon will be home for the holidays to greet Laurel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
