Meanwhile, Garland Christian Academy stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Alcuin at home to the tune of 73-21.
Caden Sandlin was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 45 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Doddy, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Dallas International dropped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.8 points per game. As for Garland Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
