The Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down Eastern Tech 58-39 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Benjamin Franklin also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Eastern Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Prabhnoor Singh. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jericho Wondeye, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Benjamin Franklin's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Eastern Tech, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-1.
Benjamin Franklin will be home for the holidays to greet Dundalk at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastern Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Towson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
