The Deshler Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Harvard at home to the tune of 67-30. The win was a breath of fresh air for Deshler as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Deshler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carson Sieber, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sieber has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaden Kleen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Santiago Gabriel, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Deshler's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Harvard, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Deshler will challenge Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Superior has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15. As for Harvard, they will be playing at home against Silver Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Silver Lake will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
