Even though the Butler County Bears scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, the Warren Central Dragons still came out on top. Warren Central secured a 74-70 W over Butler County.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Price, who scored 31 points. That was a full 44.3% of Butler County's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lawson Rice, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.
Warren Central now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Butler County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
Warren Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-41 loss vs. Bowling Green on the 9th. Butler County has also already played their next game, a 97-68 win against Edmonson County on the 9th.
