The Triton Central Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Riverside Argonauts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Triton Central is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Last Saturday, Triton Central was able to grind out a solid victory over North Decatur, taking the game 52-45.
Silas Blair continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Max Crouse, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Tuesday and fell 55-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverside has scored all season.
Triton Central's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Everything came up roses for Triton Central against Riverside in their previous matchup back in March as the squad secured a 78-45 victory. With Triton Central ahead 48-26 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
